Family Traditions exceeded our Families expectations. Lost count of the catfish we caught. Great for all ages! Rest and Relaxation? Check and Check!

Family Traditions is a great place to stay. We were a family of 4 plus 2 of our children’s friends (adult ages) and on the last night another couple stayed. Total of 8 at one point and plenty of room. We were all very comfortable. The upstairs deck, around the fire pit, the kitchen table , and on the pontoon boat we rented, is where we spent the majority of our time. The hammock was well used by our son. There is only one bedroom on the main floor that has a single bed and then a bunk bed, with the lower part being a full size bed. There is also a bathroom with shower and washer and dryer on first floor. There is a winding staircase to the second floor that I would not recommend small children or the elderly not use. However , you could go outside and use the stairs to the beautiful upper deck and there is a door to access the upstairs level with ease. The Upstairs has a full bath and 3 bedrooms with a lovely sitting area and looks like more could sleep in that sitting area also. The house was stocked with much more variety of items than I have ever experienced any where else . There is a local family member that lives very close and can provide supplies should you run out. The family, well at least the 2 brothers we dealt with are very helpful, pleasant, and quickly respond. There is a water cooler for fresh water, as there is well water. There is no dishwasher but you couldn’t ask for a better view as you are washing dishes. Hope this is a helpful review to anyone looking into this rental. I would fully recommend and would return. Family Traditions is aptly named! A great place to vacation with a large family right on the water! The house is perfect for 10-12 people and we loved having a dock right on the property! Great hosts and lots of the amenities. 5 stars from our family! Kathy

What a trip! Our group of 12 had a great time at Family Traditions for the holiday weekend. There were plenty of beds, linens, and towels for the group. Check in was stress free and the house was turn key for the perfect get away. This backyard was made for yard games, floating off the dock and alfresco dining. Thank you Don for everything!

Easy, relaxing, comfortable place to stay.

We had a fantastic time at Family Traditions! Don was a great host who keeps the lines of communication open through your entire stay. He was eager to answer any and all questions that we had! The house had plenty of room for our group of 8, with extra room to spare. We spent most of our time at the house, but when we ventured out there was everything that we needed a short distance away. Overall, this house gave us everything we needed and more. We would come back in a hearbeat!

We had a great weekend at this house. The location was good and the neighborhood was nice. We really enjoyed the back yard with the camp fire ring and the boat dock. The upper deck was really nice also! There was plenty of beds and clean linens.

A great place to stay! The home is very clean and the deck and dock are fabulous! Everything you need to make your stay enjoyable! The owners are great. They respond to emails and texts immediately. You’ll have no concerns when you book at Family Traditions!

This place is wonderful for larger groups. We had a group of 10 extended family members gathering for the weekend to attend the University of Findlay graduation. While it was about an hour away, it was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy time together. The large dining room table was perfect for games and meals. The kitchen had everything we needed and the grill was great to have. The view of the lake was beautiful and the weatherproof lower deck was nice in a rainy evening. The beds were all very comfy, everything was clean, and we felt right at home. Don was wonderful to communicate with before our stay. The home was a great value. We would love to go back later this summer.
